It is hard to give a level of importance to how a person can make you feel. In January of this year I had a stroke and at 59 it was a complete shock. The tidal wave of emotions that followed can not be described. My first meeting with Dr Kwan was the light bulb moment. I left knowing I had to live with the implications of having had my stroke , but with the knowledge that I had found a consultant that was going to walk with me on my journey. I am from a health background and have met many consultants. Dr Kwan is the person every patient would want to see opposite them in a time of emotional distress. He listens to everything and does not rush you in your explanations. He takes the time to make sure you understand everything and his follow ups and attention to detail are excellent. I face my journey with a positive mind and I know that he will be there to support me at any point. You can not quantify what this level of care is because it is everything to the person who sits scared waiting to find out what their future holds. Thank you for being there when I needed that help and for being there when I need you in the future.

Dr Kwan is incredibly thorough, very attentive to one’s particular needs as a patient and very clear in explaining everything. He is brilliant. He has been treating my 82 years old Mother for years with incredible humans care and skill and other members of the family. I can proudly say, we are lucky to be looked after by such a gentleman. I was under the care of Doctor Kwan after I suffered 2 strokes a couple of years ago. He helped me get better by being a most kind and patient and compassionate doctor. His care went above and beyond throughout my rehabilitation, I would not hesitate to recommend him, a truly lovely and caring doctor.

I have been under the care of Dr Kwan since suffering a stroke in August 2021. During the period to September 2022, I have seen Dr Kwan several times and found that his knowledge, experience and interest in the subject have helped enormously with my rehabilitation. He has been patient, listened carefully, and given excellent advice on diet and exercise and keeping an eye on my blood pressure.
